Self-Employed Super Tax Deduction

Just a reminder if you are claiming a Personal Tax Deduction for Super you will need to notify your super fund prior to the lodgement of the relevant tax return and before 30 June of the following financial year of the contribution.
You will receive the relevant forms each year direct from your super fund so you should provide this with your tax work or ideally fill it in yourself and send off to the super fund.
We have had a bit of flexibility with these in the past, this is no longer the case and you can, have and will end up with amendments and tax bills if not completed in the relevant timeframe.
